Find a Local Councilor

Ever wondered who's responsible for what in North Lincolnshire? This helpful search engine will hopefully help. Just enter below what you are looking for and let the database take the strain.

Search for a councilor...

Hints and Tips

The database currently contains information about Councilors committee memberships, wards, parties, rolls and responsibilities, names and email addresses.

Search by last name
If for example you were looking for information about Councillor Smith, just enter Smith in the find me box and all names matching Smith will be returned. This would include Smithson and Goldsmith as the database will match part of the name.

In addition to this the database also uses a "Sounds like" search for matching last names only, so if for example you are looking for Councilor Vickers and you type in Vikers then it will match that too.

Search by Responsibility / Committee Membership
If you are interested in finding out who is a member of the Humber Bridge Board, then type in either Humber Bridge Board or Bridge as the search will match any part of a roll, responsibility of committee for any member.

Interested in Councilors involved with planning? just search for Planning. To find out who the mayor is just type in Mayor - this will also list deputy Mayors.

The capability of the database is limited by the quality of the data entered in here, for example there is very little about educational roles for Councilors, the only reference is to one Councilor's involvement with schools, hopefully however, people will pad the details out further and I'll update the database as I get more information.

Any Councilors reading this? If so send me through details for a resume and I'll gladly publish them along side your details in the search results page. Please note, all information here is freely available from the local North Lincolnshire Council web site, however NLC don't have a search so I thought it might be interesting to put one in here instead.

Search by Ward
If you want to know who is responsible for what ward, then just type in the name of the ward, don't worry if you spell it wrong, there's a "sounds like" which catches most miss spellings so you should get a result

If any one has an addition rolls or details they'd like to add, or if they think the information needs updating or amending in any way - please email me with updates thoades@hotmail.com
