Westcliff Library Closed For Maintenance
14 January 2012 by HamstWestcliff Library on Swinburne Road has closed until further notice for essential building maintenance.
It closed on Friday 13th January after one of the external walls was found to have bowed and is likely to remain shut for at least two weeks while a structural survey is carried out.
Any books that are due to be returned whilst the library remains closed will be renewed automatically.
Westcliff Library is housed in a prefabricated building that dates from 1972 and is usually open two mornings and two afternoons per week.
Library customers are advised to visit either North Lincolnshire Central Library in Scunthorpe, Riddings Library in Willoughby Road the Ashby Link.
People can also make reservations, renew books and access a range of other library services online.
