Accessories shop locates to larger premises

05 July 2012 by Scunny Independent News

Congratulations to David Redmile on the expansion of his accessories business moving from the Kiosk opposite Costa Coffee in to larger premises in the Parishes shopping center.

Local independent retailer, Cindy's Accessories is opening a new store at The Parishes Shopping Centre, Scunthorpe, on Friday (6th July).

The fashion accessories store is relocating from its current kiosk to a bigger unit within the centre between F Hinds and Cash Generator on Cole Street.

Cindy’s has had continued success since it started trading in December 2010 and has steadily built a strong customer base from the local area as well as Hull, Leeds and Lincoln.

 Owner, David Redmile, commented:

“We decided early this year that we would need to expand our business, sooner rather than later, and in order to do this we needed a bigger sales area. The Parishes is an ideal location for us as it contains a varied range of stores that attract a wide audience.

“With the opening of the new store we aim to attract new customers and to become a major attraction to our fantastic town."

The shop will now be able to stock a wider range of stylish accessories, make up, nail art and hair products, including extensions.

In a press release sent to Visit Scunthorpe earlier today, Parishes Shopping Centre Manager, Tony Pickering, added:

“I’m delighted that one of our independent retailers has expanded to a bigger store, which is testament to the continued success of David Redmile and his staff. The relocation has given the store chance to undergo a revamp and stock even more stylish accessories, so I would urge people to go and check it out.”

Readers may recall that it was David Redmile who called for a 2 hour free parking facility to be introduced to all car parks back in March of this year to try to help town center traders. A free parking scheme was launched in Brigg last year which has been heralded a great success.
