Workers Memorial Day Service
27 April 2012 by HamstThe mayor of North Lincolnshire headed a procession of employers, trade union leaders, local councillors and safety experts in paying respect to workers who have been killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their work.
Gathering at the Memorial Stone
In the third such Workers' Memorial Day to be held locally the service took place in the council chamber at the Civic Centre earlier today (27th April 2012) before moving on the memorial stone in Central Park. A minutes silence was held before members of the congregation laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial stone.
