Too many signs!

So as I take my walk to work in the morning - being the socially conscious person I am - I have to walk down the dual carriage way from the old Beefeater to Howdens hill nice walk in the morning overtaking all the cars going at a snails pace. Thats all right but what really gets me going is the number of signs. WFT? I hear you say who gives a damn?
Well me! I give a shit, no granted it don't really matter what the signs say its just that there is so many of them - use that lane - no pedestrians that speed - this warning � that warning � 81percent of People Like living in Scunthorpe � 65percent of school leavers get C grade or above - etc etc etc
FFS all I see now is conform - obey - integrate � isnt your local council great! blah blah blah
Now I guess in some way it might be political correctness. - but for me its just overkill - each sign another message that in some way our council is just wasting money on bullshit instead of bringing the town forward in a meaningful way.

Well... I don't find this offensive perse but I do feel that such language should be avoided on a public forum!! :
The signs from every second lamp post telling us how good North Liconlshire Council are doing are surely over doing it a bit.
