Scunthorpe Rock-it-ball Club

Rock-it-ball is a sport for the 21st Century, boys and girls compete equally on the same team, with the rules designed as such that either sex can shine! so come along and give it a go.
The Scunthorpe-rock-it-ball Club is the only rock-it-ball Club in North Lincolnshire running at Westcommon Lane Sports Hall on a Saturday Night 5pm til 6pm. We will also start running a session at the Pods Sports hall from Monday 10 October 2011 from 7 - 8pm for a trial period of 10 weeks in a hope to start some new teams in Scunthorpe. This Club has already recommended a 16 year old boy from Scunthorpe to be taken into the England Youth Program, who was accepted by the International Rock-it-ball Federation and he also played in the second World Cup so far played for Englands Youth Team.
We have 11 qualified Coaches at level 2 and soon to qualify 8 Referees in the same sport, we believe in giving our members every opportunity to grow with the sport. Scunthorpe will be one of the first Counties to start playing a V4 local league so am always scouting for good players.

How it Works
If you would like to have the ability to add articles and comments to Visit Scunthorpe then all you need to do is sign up with a valid email address for an account. This is free, your email address is confidential and we don't send out spam emails.
Once you've completed the sign up then you are free to post and comment on well... pretty much anything, we just have some basic civilised rules to prevent people from inciting violence, hatred or making individual attacks.
