Problems at BOS plant

Residents are complaining of hearing lots of loud banging noises and of what sounds like jet engines noises coming from the steel works which have been reported as far away as Barton.
We've been told by readers, and from posts on Facebook, that the problem was apparently caused by an oxygen gas disc blowing, this is a failsafe device so there was no danger to the public or workers on the site.
Production was stopped for a few hours whilst it was repaired.
The BOS plant suffered a shut down last year due to a fire which burned through cables which took a fortnight to replace.
