Prince Edward in North Lincolnshire TODAY

While not strictly Scunthorpe, Kirton in Lindsey is in the Scunthorpe constituency and is part of North Lincolnshire so I thought reader's might like a heads up on an event taking place in the town on the 27th September.
It has been confirmed that Prince Edward will be in Kirton Lindsey at 15:15 (Thats a quarter past three) to perform the opening of the Kirton Lindsey Town Hall.
Built on the site of the former Greyhound public house, the town hall in Kirton in Lindsey was opened in June 1899 and has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and extension following funding secured by the National Lottery council.
