Former Club Set To Be Demolished

The former Independant Liberal Club on Gilliat Street been earmarked for demolition.
An application for prior notification of proposed demolition of the Independant Liberal Club has be submitted to North Lincolnshire Council. The building is said to be in a bad state of repair after the theft of piping and other fittings leaving it damaged beyond viable financial repair.
The Liberal Club moved to Gilliat Street, the site of the old Bethal Town Mission from it previous location on Cole Street, next to the old college, now TJ Hughs. The club has been on the market for at least three years and has becaome an eyesore in the area.
As of yet there are no plans for the futuer development of the site.
