Coalition of Resistance calls for Protest

25 June 2011 by Paul Rhoades

FLYER copy

On Tuesday 28th June the newly led Tory council will meet to announce the cuts they are going to make in their emergency budget.

They will announce how they will do the government’s bidding as they slash at least £15 Million from the council’s budget over the next 4 years, destroying jobs and livelihoods and undermining vital public services.

They will not be giving any thought to the 4,000 children in Scunthorpe who are already living in child poverty, nor will they care about how many more thousands will join them as a result of their actions.

They will also be totally ignoring the fact that if the government collected the £120 BILLION of uncollected tax revenue every year, that the cuts would be unnecessary.

We are not all in this together.

There is an alternative.

Support the coalition of resistance in their protest outside Pittwood house this Tuesday evening from 5.

Count me in Thoades.

Wonderful new Tory plan to link up with East Yorkshire, the council that outsourced everything that moved to a dodgy German finance company. Said German company failed to deliver on £15 million contract and is now busy downsizing.

I am not making this up...really. Search t'interweb for Arvato and East Riding of Yorkshire, I had a little trawl of their local newspaper archives online and it makes scary reading.

If we don't fight now there'll be nothing left to save.

Where were these demonstrators when Labour shut Rover down and raped the pension funds?I hope these people are not being used by Labour activists for purely political means
