Baths Hall Slide Show - 5th October 2010

An update of the progress at the construction site of the Baths Hall. The total project cost is �1.3m cheaper than originally anticipated. It was originally going to cost �15.7m, but due to a fall in construction costs, it will now cost �14.4m. Clugston Construction from Scunthorpe have said during the building of the venue the project would employ 60 to 70 people on average, with up to 130 people at the busiest time. The Baths Hall will provide a modern, multi-use venue, capable of hosting live performances and events, top class entertainment, conferencing and wider community use for up to 2,000 people. It will include: An auditorium/multi use area at ground floor level with flexible partitioning, with a capacity of 1,200 seated and 2,000 standing Additional balcony seating Conference and break-out facilities Caf� Bar. SMG Europe Holdings has been picked to run The Baths Hall, which is expected to open for business in November 2011.
